  1. 2 Garlic cloves - minced

  2. 3 tablespoons 45ml Lime juice

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Fish sauce

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Sugar

  5. 1 Serrano pepper - minced

  6. 1 tablespoon 15ml Minced fresh mint

  7. 1/2 lb 227g / 8oz Grilled shrimp

  8. 1/2 Papaya - chopped

  9. 2 cups 474ml Romaine lettuce - shredded

  1. To tone down this dish's heat, remove the seeds from the serrano pepper.

  2. Combine garlic, lime juice, fish sauce, sugar, serrano pepper and mint in medium bowl. Stir well until sugar dissolves, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add shrimp and papaya and toss to coat.

  3. Divide lettuce between two plates and top with shrimp and papaya.

  4. This recipe yields 2 servings.
