  1. 1 cup 237ml Plum jam

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Cornstarch

  3. 1/4 cup 59ml Water

  4. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Ground ginger

  5. 1 Garlic clove - minced

  6. 1 cup 237ml Water

  7. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt - to taste

  8. 1 tablespoon 15ml Soy sauce

  9. 1 tablespoon 15ml Cider vinegar

  10. 2 packets Tuna - drained and chunked

  11. Cooked rice

  12. Chopped nuts - optional

  13. Chopped parsley - optional

  14. Coconut - flaked, optional

  1. Put the jam in heavy pan. Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water and blend into the jam. Add ginger, garlic, water, salt, soy sauce, and vinegar and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened.

  2. Add tuna and heat. Serve over mounds of hot cooked rice and serve little side bowls of chopped nuts, parsley, and coconut to sprinkle over the top, if desired.
