  1. 2 lb Lamb, boneless; cubed,

  2. -browned & drained

  3. 2 ts Salt

  4. 1/4ts Pepper

  5. 2 c ;Water

  6. 1 sm Bay leaf

  7. 2 md Carrots; pared & cut in

  8. 1/2"

  9. -slices

  10. 2 sm Onions, thinly sliced

  11. 4 md Potatoes, pared & quartered

  12. 1/4c Quick-cooking tapioca; (opt)

  13. 10 oz Peas, frozen; OR 10 oz Mixed vegetables, frozen

  1. + Season cubed lamb with salt and pepper.

  2. Add remaining ingredients except peast (omit tapioca if you don't want gravy thickened).

  3. Stir well.

  4. Cover and cook on Low 10-12 hours.

  5. Add peas during last 1-2 hours of cooking.
