  1. 6 apples, peeled & sliced

  2. 6 oz. can frozen apple juice concentrate (without sugar added, Tree Top Brand)

  3. 1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch

  4. Dash of salt

  5. 1 tsp. cinnamon or apple pie spice

  6. Double pie crust (not deep dish)

  1. Dissolve cornstarch in apple juice concentrate (undiluted). Combine with salt and spice. Simmer until thick (in microwave 1 1/2 minutes on high). Pour over apples in bottom unbaked pie shell. Add top of crust, crimp edges of 2 crust and place on baking sheet (will cook over). Sprinkle a tiny amount of cinnamon over top crust.

  2. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Slice pie into 8 slices after cooled.
