  1. 1/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted

  2. 2 (11 ounces) cans Mandarin oranges, drained

  3. 1 bunch green onions, chopped, including tops

  4. 2 heads Romaine lettuce, torn in small pieces

  5. 1 cup packages croutons Mustard Poppyseed Dressing:

  6. 1/4 cup sugar

  7. 1 tsp dry mustard

  8. 1 tsp salt

  9. 1/4 cup cider vinegar

  10. 1/2 cup salad oil

  11. 2 Tbsp poppyseeds

  1. Preparation: Toss the almonds , oranges , onion, and lettuce in a salad bowl. Whisk together sugar, dry mustard , salt , cider vinegar , salad oil, and poppyseeds. Top salad with croutons and add stirred dressing to taste. Serve immediately. Yield: 6 servings
