  2. 1 (8 ounce) package medium-wide egg noodles

  3. Boiling salted water

  4. 1 pound ground beef

  5. 1 teaspoon salt

  6. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  7. 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

  8. 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce

  9. 1 cup sour cream

  10. 1 cup cream-style small curd cottage cheese

  11. 1 cup green onion, chopped

  12. 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded

  13. Cook noodles in boiling salted water about 8 minutes. Rinse in cold water; drain.

  14. Brown beef; pour off excess grease. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer 5 minutes.

  15. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, green onion and cooked noodles.

  17. 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and lightly browned.
