  1. 3/4 lb-

  2. 1 lb. wild caught salmon filet, skin on (or mahi-mahi or other "fatty" fish)

  3. 1" piece fresh ginger, finely chopped

  4. 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  5. 1 T Kikkoman low sodium soy or teriyaki sauce

  6. 1/2 c. water

  7. 1 T canola oil optional:

  8. 2 t toasted sesame

  1. On medium heat, saute ginger & garlic until fragrant & golden. Lower heat. Add salmon, skin side up. Add sauce & water. Cook on low 5-7 min. Turn & repeat, cooking until fish just barely starts to flake with a fork. (This technique took me soooooooo long to learn.) Remove fish. Reduce sauce to desired amount & consistency by continuing to cook on low.
