  1. 2 (6 1/2-ounce) can minced clams , undrained

  2. 2 (5-ounce) jars sharp process cheese spread, softened

  3. 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese , softened

  4. 1/2 cup chopped red pepper

  5. 3 scallions with tops, chopped

  6. 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce

  7. Optional: Tabasco, to taste

  1. Drain clams, reserving 1/4 cup juice.

  2. Combine cheese in top of double boiler; bring water to a boil.

  3. Reduce heat to low; cook until cheese melts. Stir in remaining ingredients.

  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until dip is smooth and bubbly.

  5. Serve warm with corn/tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

  6. Makes 3 cups.
