    6. 3 Flakes diavoletto

    8. 1/4 c Olive oil; plus

    9. 1 tb Olive oil

    10. 1 ts Tomato paste

    11. 1 lb Fresh tomatoes

    12. - peeled and seeded,-

    13. OR -

    14. 16 oz - Canned peeled tomatoes,

    15. - drained

    1. The sauce can be prepared in large batches and frozen.

    2. IN A HEAVY SAUCEPAN, combine all of the ingredients over moderate heat.

    3. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

    4. Discard the parsley and garlic and pour the sauce over freshly cooked pasta.

    5. (This sauce can be prepared in large batches and frozen.

    6. ) Dresses 1 pound of spaghetti or linguine.
