  1. 1 (17-ounce) can apricots in syrup

  2. 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

  3. 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  4. 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  5. 1 tablespoon prepared brown mustard

  6. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  7. 1 garlic clove

  8. 1/2 cup chopped dried apricot

  9. 1 tablespoon butter

  1. In a blender or food processor combine apricots in syrup, brown sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, prepared brown mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic clove. Process until smooth. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and stir in chopped dried apricots. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in butter.
