  2. SPAGHETTI ALLA PUTANESCA

  6. 1 1/2 tb Olive oil

  7. 3 Garlic cloves -- minced

  8. 3 Anchovy fillets -- chopped

  9. 14 oz Italian plum tomatoes

  10. -(canned), including liquid

  11. 1 c Pitted black olives, sliced

  12. 1/4 c Capers

  13. 1 lb Spaghetti

  14. Chopped parsley

  15. In a skillet, heat oil. Add garlic and anchovies; cook

  16. over low heat until almost melted. Chop tomatoes; add

  17. to skillet. Stir in olives and capers; cook for 5

  18. minutes. Cook spaghetti according to package

  19. directions; drain. Add tomato mixture and mix well.

  20. Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

  21. 4 to 6 servings.
