  1. 2 lb boneless pork country-style ribs

  2. 1 medium cooking apple, sliced

  3. 1 small onion, sliced

  4. 1 can (14 oz) sauerkraut, drained, rinsed

  5. 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar

  6. 1 teaspoon caraway seed

  7. 1/4 cup dry white wine or apple juice

  1. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, place ribs, apple and onion. Top with sauerkraut, brown sugar and caraway seed; mix lightly. Pour wine over top.

  2. Cover; cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
