  1. 4 cups 948ml Firm bosc pears - (1-1/2 pounds) (small)

  2. 4 Cinnamon sticks - (3-inch)

  3. 3 tablespoons 45ml Honey

  4. 1 tablespoon 15ml Lemon juice

  5. 1/3 cup 78ml Low-fat sour cream

  6. 1/3 cup 78ml Vanilla low-fat yogurt

  7. 1 tablespoon 15ml Crumbled feta cheese

  8. 1/4 cup 36g / 1 1/3oz Amaretti cookie or vanilla wafer crumbs

  1. Remove stems from pears. Using a corer or knife, remove core from stem end, leaving bottom intact. Place 1 cinnamon stick into the cavity of each pear; set aside.

  2. Combine honey and lemon juice in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at HIGH 15 seconds or until thoroughly heated. Spoon 2 teaspoons honey mixture into the cavity of each pear, reserving remaining honey mixture.

  3. Arrange pears in a vegetable steamer over boiling water; cover and steam 15 minutes or until tender. Remove pears, and let cool. Discard cinnamon sticks. Cut pears in half lengthwise.

  4. Combine reserved honey mixture, sour cream, yogurt, and cheese; stir well. Place 2 pear halves on each of 4 dessert dishes; top each with 3 tablespoons cheese mixture, and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs.

  5. Yield: 4 servings.
