  1. 1 cake yeast

  2. 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  3. 3/4 tsp salt

  4. 1/3 cup sugar

  5. 3 1/2 cup flour

  6. 2 egg s beaten

  1. Dissolve yeast sugar in warm milk. Add 1 cup flour and beat till smooth. Add ½ cup vegetable oil and 2 beaten eggs, then remaining flour and ¾ tsp salt. Beat until smooth. Let rise till double in bulk, punch down. Roll out ½ inch thick on floured board,then spread butter all over, sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon. Then roll, put in cookie sheet forming a circle and cut at 1½ inch intervals ⅔ of the way through. Turn slices slightly. Let rise till double in size. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 25 minutes. Ice with thin powdered sugar icing and decorate with chopped pecans and drained marachino cherries.
