  1. 8 oz 227g Spaghetti or vermicelli - uncooked

  2. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Mild Italian sausage

  3. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Green or red bell pepper - cut into thin (medium) strips

  4. 1 Onion - chopped (medium)

  5. 1/2 cup 118ml Dry white wine or ready-to-serve chicken

  6. Broth

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Spice islands oregano - (leaves)

  8. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Spice islands sweet basil

  9. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Spice islands crushed red pepper

  1. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in large skillet, brown sausage on all sides over medium-high heat. Remove from pan; cut into 1/2-inch thick slices. Return sausage to pan; add bell pepper and onion. Cook and stir 5 minutes; sti r in wine, oregano, basil and red pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over pasta.
