  1. 1/4 cup vegetable oil

  2. 1/2 cup corn flour or all-purpose flour salt and pepper to taste

  3. 2 rabbits, cut in quarters

  4. 1/2 cup pine nuts

  5. 2 white onions, chopped

  6. 4 ribs celery, chopped

  7. 1 quart water

  1. Add to oil to a Dutch oven on high heat. Coat the rabbit with the flour, salt, and pepper and brown well. Remove the rabbit and turn down the heat to medium-low. Add the onion, celery, and pine nuts and cook until the onion is translucent. Add the water and the rabbit quarters, and simmer on low until meat falls from bones. About 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
