  1. 2-1/2 lbs Red Potatoes sliced

  2. 3 Tbsp Butter

  3. 1/2 cup Onion chopped

  4. 3 Tbsp Flour

  5. 1/2 tsp Salt

  6. 1/2 tsp Pepper

  7. 12 oz Evaporated Milk

  8. 1 cup Water

  9. 1 pkg Oscar Meyer Real Bacon Pieces

  10. 1 pkg Diced Ham (8-oz)

  11. 2 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese

  1. Photo by: paulette_ Slice the potatoes and boil for approximately 10 minutes. Drain.

  2. Melt butter over medium heat in a large saucepan. Add onions and cook until softened. Stir in the flour, salt & pepper. Add the milk, water, bacon & ham and cook until thickened (approximately 10 minutes).

  3. Remove from heat and stir in 1-1/2 cups of cheese, stirring in thoroughly.

  4. Place 1/2 of the potatoes in an ungreased 3-qt casserole dish. Pour 1/2 of the sauce over the top. Place remaining half of the potatoes in the dish and top with the remaining sauce. Top with remaining cheese.

  5. Microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Yield: serves 8
