  7. 3 tablespoons 45ml Asian sesame oil

  8. 3 tablespoons 45ml Hoisin sauce

  9. 3 tablespoons 45ml Dry sherry

  10. 1 tablespoon 15ml Minced garlic

  11. 1 tablespoon 15ml Minced fresh ginger

  12. 1 Shallot - finely chopped

  13. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Salt

  14. 6 Center-cut 1 1/2"-thk loin pork chops - (abt 4 lbs)

  15. 2 tablespoons 30ml Honey

  16. 2 tablespoons 30ml Asian sesame oil

  1. Recipe Instructions Prepare the dipping sauce by combining all of the ingredients in a bowl. Set aside. Combine the marinade ingredients in a large bowl. Add the pork chops and toss to coat. Let rest, covered, at room temperature for 2 hours, turning a few times. Combine the honey and sesame oil in a small bowl. Place 2 nonstick skillets, large enough to hold 3 pork chops each, over medium heat. Brown the chops lightly, about 5 minutes per side, basting with the honey mixture. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cover. Cook, turning the chops after 8 minutes, until they are cooked through, about 15 minutes. Serve each chop with a little bowl of dipping sauce. This recipe yields 6 servings. Per serving: 460 calories, 23g carbohydrates, 42g protein, 21g fat, 115mg cholesterol.
