  1. 1 tb Butter or margarine

  2. 1 sm Onion, chopped

  3. 2 c Ketchup

  4. 1/2c Vinegar (cider or flavored)

  5. 1/4c Firmly packed brown sugar

  6. 2 tb Worcestershire sauce

  7. 2 ts Chili powder

  8. 1/2ts Hot sauce

  1. + Directions : Melt butter in a saucepac over low heat; add onion and cook until tender, stirring frequently. Add remaining ingredients, stirring well. If using with baby back rib recipe and using a smoker, pour mixture into an 8 or 9 inch loaf pan and cover with foil, cutting several one inch slits. Put into smoker with ribs and smoke for three hours. If not using a smoker, heat for 30 minutes on low heat and enjoy!
