  1. 1 lb ground beef

  2. 1 lb ground pork

  3. 1 cup onion , chopped

  4. 1 cup celery , thinly sliced

  5. 4 cups cabbage , finely shredded

  6. 2/3 cup green peppers or 2/3 cup red peppers or 2/3 cup yellow pepper (or a mixture)

  7. 1 1/2 cups ketchup

  8. 1/2 cup water

  9. 2 tablespoons prepared mustard

  10. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  11. 16 hamburger buns

  1. Brown meats with onion& celery in a large skillet.

  2. Drain of fat.

  3. Stir in cabbage,pepper,ketchup water mustard& garlic powder.

  4. Heat to boiling.

  5. Stir occasionally.

  6. Reduce heat& cover pan.

  7. Simmer till veggies are tender about 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  8. Toast hamburger buns if desired.

  9. Spoon mixture on to bottom half of roll.

  10. Top with remaining half.

  11. servings.
