  1. 4 pounds spareribs

  2. 1 cup brown sugar; packed

  3. 1/4 cup ketchup

  4. 1/4 cup soy sauce

  5. 1 teaspoon dry mustard

  6. 1/2 cup chili sauce

  7. 1/4 cup dark rum

  8. 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

  9. 2 centiliters garlic; crushed

  10. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  1. Preparation : Wrap ribs in double thickness of foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350F. Unwrap and drain drippings. Combine all ingredients and pour over ribs. Marinate a room temperature for 1 hour. Bake at 350F for 30 min., basting with sauce.
