  1. 1 tbsp olive oil

  2. 150g diced smoked bacon pieces

  3. 1 Savoy cabbage, cored, halved and shredded

  4. 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, crushed

  5. 100g (4oz) Stilton, crumbled

  6. 50g (2oz) walnuts pieces Freshly-ground white pepper

  1. Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan. Add the bacon pieces and cook for 4-5 mins until beginning to crisp. Add the cabbage and fennel seeds, and stir together. Stir-fry for a further 5-7 mins until tender but still crunchy. Add the Stilton and walnuts, season and stir-fry for 1-2 mins and serve.
