  1. 6 Peaches, whole, ripe

  2. 5 tb Lemon Juice

  3. 1 1/2c Amaretti Cookies, crumbled

  4. 2 tb Brown Sugar

  5. 1/3c Softened Butter <--*

  6. 1 Amaretto Liqueur

  1. + Directions : Servings: 6 Several hours in advance, peel, seed and halve the peaches and dip in lemon juice. Place in a shallow casserole. Combine cookies, sugar and butter and blend well. Fill hollow of each peach half with about 1 tablespoon of the filling and sprinkle a little liqueur over each. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 375 or until peaches are softened and golden. Serve with peach or vanilla ice cream. Serves 6.
