  1. 2 large cloves garlic, chopped

  2. 2 teaspoons water

  3. 2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard

  4. 1 teaspoon dried basil

  5. 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

  6. 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  7. 2 rib-eye steaks, cut 1 inch thick (about1 pound) Salt to taste

  1. Prepare outdoor grill, placing grill rack 5 inches from heat source. In a small bowl, combine garlic and water; microwave on High for 30 seconds. Stir in mustard, basil, pepper and thyme; spread onto both sides of steaks. Season steaks with salt.

  2. Place steaks on grill, grill for 10 to 12 minutes for medium, turning once halfway through cooking time.

  3. Remove from grill and let rest on a cutting board for 10 minutes. Slice against the grain and serve.
