  1. 1/2 cup Blackberries

  2. cup Rice wine vinegar

  3. 1 tablespoon Brown sugar

  4. teaspoon Ground ginger

  5. teaspoon Cinnamon

  6. teaspoon Cayenne pepper

  7. cup Vegetable oil

  1. Rub berries through fine sieve or food mill to remove seeds & render pulp & juice. Combine juice, pulp & all ingredients except oil in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Allow to cool & whisk in oil.
