  1. 3 Lb Lean beef (fland -- round or sirloin tip)

  2. 1 C Catsup

  3. 1/2 C Red wine vinegar

  4. 1/4 C Brown sugar

  5. 2 T Worcestershire sauce

  6. 2 T Dry mustard

  7. 1 T Onion powder

  8. 1 T Salt

  9. 1/4 T Cracked pepper

  10. 1 Dash hot pepper sauce

  1. Preparation : Cut beef into strips 1/2 inch thick. Combine all marinade ingredients in a large glass baking dish. Add strips of beef, cover and refrigerate overnight. Drain beef slices. Dry in an electric dehydrator at 145 until pliable. Package in home canning jars, food-grade plastic bags or seal-by-heat food storage bags.
