  8. 1 teaspoon sugar

  9. salt and freshly ground pepper -- to taste

  10. 1 green bell pepper -- for garnish

  11. seeded -- deribbed, and cut -- in thin rings

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine cabbage, onion, and parsley. In a small bowl whisk together oil, vinegar, sugar, salt, and ground pepper. Pour dressing over cabbage and toss until thoroughly coated. Arrange bell pepper rings on top. Cover and chill before serving.
