  1. 1 (29 ounce) can pumpkin puree

  2. 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk

  3. 3 eggs

  4. 1 cup sugar

  5. 1 teaspoon salt

  6. 3 teaspoons cinnamon

  7. 1 (18 1/4 ounce) box yellow cake mix

  8. 1 1/2 cups pecans , chopped

  9. 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine , melted

  1. Preheat oven to 350.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine first 6 ingredients, until well blended.

  3. Pour batter into a 9x13" greased pan.

  4. Sprinkle DRY cake mix on top, then cover with pecans.

  5. Pour melted margarine or butter over top.

  6. Bake 50-60 mins., or until golden brown.

  7. Serve with Cool Whip or whipped cream on top.
