  5. 1 T Vegetable oil

  6. 2 Cloves garlic

  7. 1 t Turmeric

  8. 1/2 t Ginger

  9. 3 Lemon grass leaves

  10. 450 g Top round or lean beef

  11. Sliced thinly 1 t Salt, or to taste

  12. 1 1/2 c Coconut milk

  13. 1 Salam leaf

  14. Heat oil in pan and add garlic, turmeric, ginger and lemon grass. Saute

  15. lightly. Then add meat and crushed chillies. Saute 3 minutes, stirring frequently.

  16. Add salt and chillies and mix well.

  17. Pour coconut milk over meat and add salam leaf. Cover and cook over low

  18. heat until almost dry.

  19. Serve with rice.
