  1. 1 c Bulgur wheat, uncooked

  2. 1/2 ts Dried basil

  3. 1/8 ts Salt

  4. 1/8 ts Pepper

  5. 2 c Boiling water

  6. 1/4 c Chopped pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Lightly oil a 1 quart baking dish or spray with a nonstick cooking spray.

  3. Place bulgur, basil, salt and pepper in prepared baking dish.

  4. Add boiling water and mix well.

  5. Cover tightly and bake 20 minutes.

  6. Fluff with a fork, add pecans, and mix well.

  7. Serve hot.
