  9. 1/4 cup butter

  10. 3/4 cup sugar

  11. 1 egg

  12. 2 cups grated raw apples

  13. 1 cup flour

  14. 1 teaspoon baking soda

  15. 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

  16. 1/4 cup nuts -- chopped

  17. SAUCE:

  18. 1/4 cup margarine

  19. 1/4 cup sugar

  20. 1/4 cup evaporated milk -- or evap. skim milk

  21. 1/4 cup brown sugar

  22. Cream together: butter and sugar. Add egg, apple, flour, baking soda,

  23. cinnamon and nuts. Put in greased 8x8 baking pan. Can use mold or Bundt

  24. 350 F. for 30-35 minutes. Add

  25. 20 minutes for mold or Bundt pan.

  26. Pudding should be firm in the center. Serve with warm butter sauce.

  27. Sauce: Heat together margarine, white and brown sugar and evaprated milk.
