  1. 1 1/2 lbs 681g / 24oz Ground beef

  2. 1 cup 160g / 5.6oz Rice - regular

  3. 1 cup 62g / 2 1/5oz Onion - chopped (small)

  4. 2 tablespoons 30ml Bacon drippings

  5. 1 1/2 teaspoons 7 1/2ml Salt

  6. 1/2 teaspoon 2 1/2ml Pepper

  7. 1 teaspoon 5ml Paprika

  8. 2 oz 56g Olives - stuffed, sliced

  9. 2 cups 474ml Tomato juice

  10. 1 1/2 cups 355ml Water - boiling

  11. 1/2 cup 73g / 2.6oz Cheese - cheddar, shredded

  1. Recipe Instructions Saute ground beef, rice, and onion in bacon drippings. Pour off drippings. Add remaining ingredients except cheese; mix well. Place in a 1-1/2 quart casserole. Cover tightly; bake at 300F for 1 hour. Uncover; sprinkle with cheese and continue baking about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
