  2. 1/2 pound sliced bacon

  3. 6 medium onions

  4. 6 medium apples

  5. 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  1. Cook bacon and remove from skillet. Reserve 2 tblsp of fat. Peel and thinly slice onions. Core and slice apples (no need to peel). In reserved bacon fat, cook onions over medium heat for 6 to 7 minutes. Cover evenly with apple slices; top with brown sugar. Cover. Cook until tender, approximately 5 minutes. Serve with bacon.
