  1. 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef

  2. 28 ounces barbecue sauce , traditional style

  3. 28 ounces water

  4. 12 ounces elbow macaroni

  1. Brown ground beef and drain off any excess fat.

  2. Add barbecue sauce, stirring well.

  3. Mix in water, stirring well.

  4. Bring to a slow simmer.

  5. Stir in Elbow macaroni.

  6. Simmer on low, stirring every 5 to 10 minutes to prevent sticking.

  7. Cook until macaroni is tender, about 20 minutes. ?
