  1. 8 oz. fusilli

  2. 1 lb. broccoli rabe

  3. 1 clove garlic

  4. 1/3 cup olive oil Salt Hot red pepper flakes

  1. Cook fusilli according to directions. Drain and rinse with cold water to cool quickly. Clean broccoli in cold water after removing stems. Blanch florets in small quantity of lightly salted water, uncovered, for about 1 minute. Drain thoroughly. Slice the garlic and warm it in olive oil. Add salt and hot red pepper flakes; add the greens, heat through and toss with drained pasta. Makes 2 servings.
