  1. 680 g ocean or freshwater salmon, boned, skinned and finely chopped

  2. 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley leaves

  3. 2 tbsp. chopped fresh dill

  4. 3 green onions, thinly sliced

  5. 2 tsp. finely grated lemon peel

  6. 12 saltine crackers, crumbled finely

  7. 1 large egg, beaten to blend

  8. 1/2 tsp. salt

  9. 1 tbsp. olive oil

  10. 6 hamburger buns, split and toasted

  1. Combine the salmon, parsley, dill, green onions, lemon peel, crackers, egg and salt in a large bowl and mix well. Form the salmon mixture into 6 patties. Cover and refrigerate the salmon patties. Prepare the grill. Brush the salmon patties on both sides with the olive oil. Place the patties on a hot grill rack. Cover and grill the burgers about 3 minutes per side until cooked through. Place the salmon burgers on the hamburger buns and serve immediately.
