  7. 1 cup usulphured molasses

  8. 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

  9. 1/4 cup lemon juice

  10. 2 tablespoons butter

  11. 2 cups flour

  12. 4 teaspoons baking powder

  13. 1/8 teaspoon salt

  14. whipped cream

  15. 1/2 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil

  16. 5 minutes. Place the flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl and stir in enough water to make a soft dough. Spoon dough into boiling syrup and cook covered,

  17. 12 to 15 minutes or until dumplings are cooked. Serve with whipped cream.
