  1. 6 bacon strips, diced

  2. 1 green bell pepper, chopped

  3. 1 Medium Onion, chopped

  4. 2 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped

  5. 4 15 oz. cans pork & beans (I use VanCamps brand)

  6. 2/3 C Barbecue sauce of your choice (I used KC Masterpiece Original)

  7. 2/3 C Brown Sugar

  8. 4 t prepared mustard

  9. 1 t Liquid

  1. In a skillet, cook diced bacon over medium heat until close to done. Add onion and green pepper and continue cooking until onion is translucent/tender, add chopped garlic and continue cooking another couple minutes. Drain liquid off the top of two of the cans of Pork & Beans. Put all of the ingredients into your favorite baked bean pot. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until bubbly and heated through.
