  1. 1/2 c Granulated sugar

  2. 1/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder

  3. Or European-style cocoa 1 tb (plus 1 tsp) cornstarch

  4. 1/2 c Evaporated skim milk

  5. 2 ts Vanilla extract

  6. 3 minutes, or until mixture boils, stirring constantly with whisk. Continue cooking

  7. 1-2 minutes longer, or until sauce is thickened and smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm or cold with fresh fruit, cake, or nonfat frozen yogurt. Cover and refrigerate leftover sauce.
