  6. 1/2 c Roasted Pecans, chopped

  7. 1/2 c Roasted walnuts, chopped

  8. 2 ea Pie crusts, Prepared

  9. 9 MMMMM--FILLING--

  10. 16 oz Cream cheese

  11. 8 oz Sour cream

  12. 8 oz Powdered sugar

  13. MMMMM--TOPPING--

  14. 1/4 c Sugar, granulated

  15. 2 tb Cornstarch

  16. 1 tb Flour

  17. 1/4 c Cocoa, powdered

  18. 1/4 ts Salt

  19. 1/4 c Milk

  20. 3 ea Egg yolks, beaten

  21. 2 c Milk

  22. 3/4 c Sugar, granulated

  23. 1 tb Butter

  24. 1 ts Vanilla extract

  25. 1 ts Almond extract

  26. CRUST: Mix pecans and walnuts and add to your favorite pie crust

  27. recipe, or, if desired, use 2 frozen pie crusts, baked according to

  28. package instructions, with nuts divided evenly over bottom of crusts.

  29. Set aside to cool.

  30. FILLING: Mix cream cheese, sour cream, confectioner's sugar and 1 tsp

  31. vanilla with electric mixer or food processor until well blended.

  32. Divide evenly between pie crusts. Refrigerate for 2 hours or longer.

  33. TOPPING: In a bowl, blend 1/4 cup sugar, cornstarch, flour, cocoa,

  34. 1/4 cup milk and egg yolks; set mixture aside. Place

  35. 2 cups

  36. milk and 3/4 cup sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil over high

  37. heat, whisking constantly. Add to bowl ingredients. Transfer bowl

  38. ingredients back into saucepan and bring to boil, stirring

  39. constantly, over medium heat. Continue to cook for 5 minutes. Stir in

  40. 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla and almond extracts. Cool and spoon

  41. over Pies. Refrigerate Pies.

  42. Makes 2 pies.
