  1. 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine

  2. 1 Cup onion -- chopped

  3. 1 Medium green pepper -- chopped

  4. 1/2 Cup celery -- chopped

  5. 1 Clove garlic -- minced

  6. 1 Can tomato sauce -- (8 ounce)

  7. 1/2 Cup dry red wine

  8. 2 Tablespoons parsley -- snipped

  9. 1/2 Teaspoon salt

  10. 1/4 Teaspoon pepper

  11. 1 Dash hot sauce

  12. 1 Pound shrimp -- shelled and deveined

  1. Preparation : Place butter, onion, peppers, celery and garlic in a 2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave at high (100%) until peppers are tender, 3 to 4 minutes, stirring once during cooking time. Stir in tomato sauce, wine, parsley, salt, pepper and hot sauce. Microwave at high (100%) until hot and bubbly, 4 to 5 minutes, stirring once during cooking time. Add shrimp. Microwave at medium high (70%) until shrimp are pink, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve over hot rice. Makes 4 servings.
