    2. 2 eggs

    3. 1 cup brown sugar

    4. 2 bars German chocolate

    5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

    6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

    7. Grated rind 1/2 lemon

    8. 1 1/3 cups almonds, blanched and chopped

    9. 1 cup flour

    10. 1 teaspoon baking powder

    1. Beat eggs until light, add sugar, gradually, and continue the beating; then add chocolate, grated, and remaining ingredients.

    2. Drop from tip of spoon on a buttered sheet, and bake in a moderate oven.
