  1. 1 large bag of frozen green bean s, cut or french style, thawed

  2. 2 tablespoons butter

  3. 1/2 cup chopped onion

  4. 2 cups sliced mushroom s

  5. 1 can cream of mushroom soup

  6. 1 cup heavy cream

  7. 1 cup white Cheddar cheese

  8. 1 can fried onion rings

  1. In a skillet, melt butter and cook onions for 2 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook until golden. Stir in soup and cream. Bring to a simmer. Stir in the cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in green beans and toss to coat. Transfer to a buttered casserole. Bake for 20 minutes, top with fried onions and bake for 10 more minutes or until bubbly.
