  1. 2 cups 220g / 7.8oz Diagonally sliced carrots

  2. 2 tablespoons 30ml Margarine

  3. 1/4 teaspoon 1 1/3ml Caraway seeds

  4. 2 Cream of celery soup

  5. 1 Milk

  6. 1 Water

  7. 3 cups 711ml Shredded cabbage

  8. 1 lb 454g / 16oz Smoked sausage - cut 1/2" slices

  1. In a large kettle, combine the carrots, margarine and caraway seeds; cook over low heat until the carrots are just crisp-tender, about 5 minutes.

  2. Add soup, milk, water, cabbage and sausage. Bring to boil; reduce heat and cook until cabbage is tender, about 15 minutes.

  3. This recipe yields 6 servings.
