  1. 1 pkg. frozen hasbrowns (country style - 30oz)

  2. 1 cup sour cream

  3. 1 stick margarine (4 oz)

  4. 1 can cream of chicken soup

  5. 1 T. instant minced onion (or freshly chopped onion to taste)

  6. 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar or colby cheese

  1. Melt margarine. Place hasbrowns in 9 x 13 dish. Pour margarine over and mix well. Mix sour cream, soup, onion, and cheese in a large mixing bowl. Pour hashbrowns in the bowl and mix all together well. Then put all back in the 9 x 13 pan. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for one hour. (You may cover with crushed cornflakes if desired before cooking)
