  1. 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar

  2. 2 tablespoons pineapple juice

  3. 4-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar

  4. 1 tablespoon Liquid Smoke

  5. 1-1/2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce

  6. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  7. 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  8. 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  9. 1 garlic clove, minced

  10. 3/4 pound boneless beef sirloin steak (1 inch thick)

  1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first nine ingredients; add steak. Seal bag and turn to coat; refrigerate overnight. Drain and discard marinade. Grill steak, uncovered, over medium heat for 4-8 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145°; medium, 160°; well-done, 170°). Yield: 2 servings.
