  1. 3 tablespoons butter, melted

  2. 1 tablespoon brown sugar

  3. 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  5. 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  6. 1/8 teaspoon chili powder

  7. 1 cup whole unblanched almonds

  8. 1 cup pecan halves

  9. 1 cup pistachios or macadamia nuts

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients; mix well. Add nuts and stir until coated. Spread evenly in an ungreased 15-in. x 10-in. x 1-in. baking pan. Bake at 325° for 15-20 minutes, stirring two or three times. Spread on a waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Cool. Store in airtight container. Yield: 3 cups.
