  1. 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  2. 1 tsp. baking soda

  3. 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  4. 1/4 tsp. salt

  5. 1 cup butter

  6. 1 cup sugar

  7. 1/2 cup brown sugar

  8. 2 large eggs

  9. 168 g chopped semisweet chocolate

  10. 18 Kraft caramels, unwrapped and chopped

  11. 1 cup chopped pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Cream together butter and both sugars in a large bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture. Stir chocolate, caramel and pecans into dough. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto sheet pans, spacing 2 inches apart. Bake cookies 12 to 15 minutes until golden. Transfer pans to racks and cool cookies completely.
