  6. 1 (stick of)Butter

  7. 3/4 c Flour

  8. 2 c Milk

  9. 1 1/2 tb Onion powder

  10. 1 1/2 tb Garlic powder

  11. 1 t Italian seasoning

  12. 1 1/2 ts Mrs. Dash

  13. 1 1/2 ts White pepper

  14. 1 cn (4oz) Mushrooms

  15. (or ¬ c fresh

  16. shrooms)

  17. 1/2 c Parmesan (or Romano) cheese

  18. Grated

  19. Pasta for 6 servings

  20. 1) In a med to large bowl make a silk sauce by

  21. whisking the flour into the melted butter adding a

  22. little at a time

  23. til the butter won't take any more

  24. flour and you have a thick paste. Whisk in the room

  25. temp. milk

  26. til it is silky smooth and free of

  27. lumps... 2) Pour this into an electric frying pan and simmer on low just to keep warm, stirring to prevent

  28. lumping. (you may add more milk ¬ c at a time to keep

  29. smooth, BUT NOT THIN)... 3) Add the remaining

  30. ingredients (except the pasta) whisking completely

  31. after each addition (adjusting for your personal

  32. taste)... 4) Prepare your pasta, (fresh is best if you

  33. can find it or make it), stirring the sauce

  34. occasionally... 5) When the pasta is tender but not

  35. over cooked, drain it in a collender and put it on a

  36. warmed serving plate or platter, then carefully pour

  37. the sauce over the top and garnish with sprigs of

  38. fresh parsley... Serve with fresh italian bread or rolls (plain or garlic) and a nice italian wine...

  39. 1« lbs. of ground beef

  40. and 2 tb of dried minced onions in a frying pan. Drain

  41. off the fat and pour on top of the pasta before you

  42. pour on the sauce... b) With meatballs; Prepare your

  43. favorite meatball recipe and when they are done put

  44. them in the sauce and serve over the pasta... c) All

  45. together now; The way that we like it is; after the

  46. pasta is tender but not over cooked, add the ground

  47. beef, stirring to mix well, then add the sauce, again

  48. stirring to mix well...
