  1. 1 cup Butter , softened

  2. 2 cups Sugar

  3. 1 cup Eggnog , store bought

  4. 1 tsp Baking soda

  5. 1/2 tsp Nutmeg

  6. 5 1/2 cups Flour

  7. 1 Egg white, slightly beaten

  8. Colored sugar

  1. In mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggnog, baking soda and nutmeg.

  2. Gradually add flour and mix well. Cover and chill for 1 hour.

  3. On lightly floured surface, toll out half the dough to ⅛-inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes; place onto ungreased baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dough. Brush with egg white; sprinkle with colored sugar.

  4. Bake at 350° for 6 to 8 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
